Driving to the coast, to Marang

Today we drove from Kuala Lipis back to the coast. Passing the town of Gua Musang I wanted to see the climbing rocks there. You never know, there might be climbers there…
There were no climbers, and the area was rather small, not for more than 1 day, but the rock structures were worth seeing. And at least I know now that next time I go to Gua Musang I can sleep in those caves there while waiting for other climbers 🙂 We had some tries on the lower parts of the routes, just to feel the rock, but of course it was nothing like the real thing.

The jungle road from Gua Musang to the coast reminded me of Cuban roads. Every now and then holes in the asphalt. Probably made by (too) heavy loaded transport coming from quarry’s or from the many palm tree plantations in the area. Holes big enough to damage your car if you speed over them, so you have to drive very carefully.
