I phoned Andy if he wanted to join hitching to Katherine, and he joined. It took us 6 cars, 6 hours over 300kms. Just as I planned. More in the pictures that will come sooner or later.
The next day, hitching to the gorge (which took us a long time, we waited maybe 1 hour) and renting a kayak. It might have been one of the best things I saw here. Maybe better then the parks even… A real beauty to my eye. We tried some deep water solo on the rocks too. Really big fun! The hitch back was found faster then my eye could blink, and it took us to the hot springs there. The clearest water I saw, even clearer then in the parks! We were planning on hitching back Friday in the morning, but at a truck stop we found a ride back to Darwin already. So we got to hitch in a Road Train. An amazing experience again. And right now? We’re sleeping in one of the cars on his trailer. You wouldn’t believe it…
